November 17, 2023 - Tonight's Timpson Bears Area Round Game vs the Wolfe City Wolves will be available on live stream at the NFHS network. Larry Pierce will be on the call.

Tonight's Shelbyville Dragons Area Round Game vs the Cooper Bulldogs will also be available on live stream at the NFHS Network. Chris Watlington and Stephen Shires will be on the call.

The Shelbyville game will also be available for free to listeners at KQBB 100.5 with Don Wall on the call.

Jefferson Christian Academy (JCA) Music Department Fall Tour Coming to Center

October 11, 2023 - Jefferson Christian Academy (JCA) Music Department Fall Tour swings through Center at the First Methodist Church Sunday night, October 15 at 6 pm. Their vocal choir and hand bell choir has performed all over the states of Texas, Louisiana, and Arkansas.

“We are excited to host these talented young people,” church music director Chris Watlington said. “The kind of joy they bring to their music will give you a much-needed shot of positivity in these not-so-positive days. The Lord is definitely at work through the JCA musicians.”

Center Riders Host Hudson Hornets in Tennis District Championship Matchup

October 3, 2023 - The Center Roughriders host the Hudson Hornets tonight, October 3 at the Leon Dykes Tennis Facility for the season's last district team tennis match. Find the coverage on YouTube at NETSN Live beginning at 4 pm. We'll have a Pregame Show in order to set the stage with a visit with Coach Dykes and with a few of the players then we'll move to the coverage, beginning with the doubles matches and moving to singles. The first team to win 10 matches will be the district champion!

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service on the Square (6pm)

December 19, 2022 - First Methodist Church invites all worshippers to the beautiful and historic downtown square Saturday night at 6:00pm for a candlelight service. Gather around the bandstand for sacred music and the Christmas story accentuated by candle light. (If you have a candle, bring it! It will help the service go more smoothly.)

October 14, 2021 - The Center Roughriders have advanced to the area playoffs in Team Tennis. Play begins today, October 14 at 4:30pm as the Riders take on Lago Vista.

October 11, 2021 - The Center Roughriders are District Champions in Team Tennis, and since the inception of the Team Tennis competition, Center has been district champion every time. The Bi-District Round begins this morning, October 11 at 9am as the Riders take on the Waco-Robinson Rockets in Madisonville.
