March 26, 2019 - (Order Form) - Shelbyville ISD is offering Basketball State Champion Shirts. The shirts will be red shirts - short sleeves $20 and long sleeves $25.
Shelbyville High School will be holding Project Graduation this year on May 24, 2019. Project Graduation is a drug and alcohol free event that lasts all night. It provides a safe alternative for graduates who might otherwise be partying. It keeps graduates off the roads, prevents them from becoming an accident statistic, and gives their parents case knowing their son/daughter is safely celebrating.
March 19, 2019 - The Shelbyville HS One Act Play, Much Ado about Nothing, will compete in Bi-District competition at Panola College on Monday, March 25, at 11am.
The play advanced from District competition March 8th, with awards going to Cadience Thompson, Honor Crew, Molly Windham, Honorable Mention All Star Cast, Dawson Windham, All Star Cast, and Seth Sanders, All Star Cast. Congratulations!
March 15, 2019 - Huxley Helping Hands, a local mission group, is holding a food pantry for the residents of Shelby County on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 9am until the food is gone.
The food pantry is held the second Saturday of the month. Proof of residency and I.D. will be required. Only (1) box per household will be given.
The food pantry is at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 901 Southview Circle, Center, Texas.
March 11, 2019 - Lydia Missionary Baptist Church invites everyone to their Sunday, March 17 services at 11am and 6pm to hear Christian Country music artist Wes McMillian.
March 4, 2019 - Due to the boys Advance to the State Tournament the Softball game scheduled for Friday, March 8th vs West Sabine has been moved to April 19th. Also, Martinsville can not play on their field tomorrow so the Softball game on Tuesday, March 5th will be played in Shelbyville at 4:00 pm.
