March 25, 2018 - April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month! Will you help us spread the word that there is no excuse for child abuse?
Join us Tuesday, April 3rd at 4pm at the Downtown Square in Center for our annual butterfly release to honor child victims and stand together in the fight against child abuse. During April blue ribbons will be available for purchase at local florists in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month.
Let’s take a stand together as a community against child abuse.
January 31, 2018 - Tickets are almost gone! The SCCAC Princess Ball is on Saturday, February 24, 2018, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the John D. Windham Civic Center. Photographers will be available starting at 5:30 pm. The event is open to girls ages 3-13 and their adult family member escort. Tickets are $20 and table reservations for parties of eight are available for an additional $50.
January 24, 2018 - The seventh annual Princess Ball is approaching! Start planning now to attend the Shelby County Children’s Advocacy Center Princess Ball on Saturday, February 24, 2018, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the John D. Windham Civic Center.

July 10, 2017 - The Shelby County Children’s Advocacy Center would like to thank everyone who participated in the 2017 What-A-Melon 5K. Thank you for showing up on a hot and humid day to support the services our agency provides to child victims of abuse. We would also like to thank the Rotary Club for organizing the run, all volunteers who gave of their time, and the sponsors whose generosity made the event possible: Boles Feed Company, JBA Financial Services, and Farmers State Bank.
The SCCAC would like to thank the Rotary Club for choosing our agency as the beneficiary of this year’s What-A-Melon Crawl 5K and Fun Run.
The run will be held on Saturday, July 8, at the John D. Windham Civic Center starting at 7AM for the Fun Run and continuing with the 5K at 7:30AM. You can pre-register using this form or register at the run. We hope that you will join us for this opportunity to raise funds to support services for child abuse victims.
June 8, 2017 - Mega Sports Camp sponsored by First Baptist Church, Shelbyville is set for June 9-11, 2017 for kids who have completed kindergarten through 5th grade.
