May 9, 2018 - The Fannie Brown Booth Library and the members of the Friends of the Library officers would like to thank the community for its generous support of the Library Book Sale held at the end of April. The success of the book sale was due to the work of all involved. This includes the community members who purchased books, volunteers who worked, before, after and at the sale, and those who gave special monetary donations and book donations.
April 24, 2018 - The Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library will have its Spring Book Fair beginning with opening day on Tuesday, April 24, 2018, starting at 10am. The sale continues all week though 2pm, Saturday, April 28.
You will find loads of Christian books, Mysteries, Romance, Science Fiction, Westerns, novels and much more.
Paperbacks are 50 cents and hardbacks $1. All proceeds go to buying more new books for the library.
April 2, 2018 - Friends of the Library are asking for donations of used paperback and hardback books in good condition. No encyclopedias, please. Books may be brought to the Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library during regular library hours. The books will be sold in the spring book sale to be held Tuesday, April 24 through April 28, 2018. All proceeds will go to the library for the purchase of new books. Any volunteers who can help with sorting of books may call Melba at 936-591-7036 or Amy at 936-657-8529.
February 7, 2018 - It is Love Your Library month at the Fannie Brown Booth Library in Center. Support our local library by becoming a Friend of the Library.
Friends of the Library raises funds through book sales, raffles, and membership fees. We want our library to be able to continue ordering new books, providing interesting programs, including the delightful Holiday Puppet show, as well as other activities.

October 26, 2017 - Time is running out! The book sale at the Fannie Brown Booth Memorial Library on Tenaha Street in Center is nearly over! All day Friday, October 27, books will sell for half price! That means paperback books will be 25 cents and hardback books will be 50 cents. Hours on Friday will be 10am to 5pm.
On Saturday, October 28th the last of the sale, books will sell for $1 a bag. The library hours Saturday are 10am-2pm. All proceeds are used to purchase more books for the library.
