March 6, 2020 - I appreciate everyone who voted in the March 3rd, 2020 primary. To me, voting is one of our most cherished rights. I also want to thank the County Clerk's Office, Election Judges, workers, and the Party Chairmen along with their assistants.
All one had to do was see voters in other counties waiting three hours to vote to realize what a great operation was in place here in Shelby County.
January 26, 2017 - I have always tried to work with the City of Center including its Police Department. We have many good officers in the department and none of my comments are in any way directed at the Center Police Department. Further, none of my comments are directed in any way towards the Mayor or the City Council members.
I did not attend the City Council meeting where an ordinance regarding discharge of firearm, within 5000 feet of the City limits were discussed. I was stunned, however when I read Shelby County Today’s article about this matter.
December 23, 2016 - Cindy, Kim and I would like to give a huge thank you to everyone that helped in our County Attorney toy drive this year. We have been able to give gifts to over 650 kids at a result of the community's generosity.
I want to thank all the voters of Shelby County for allowing me to retain my office as Shelby County Attorney. I am truly honored to continue in that office. I also want to thank my opponent for running a clean campaign.
May 18, 2015 - According to texasfrogfest.org, the Texas Frog Fest (TXFF) is an effort of Brint Construction and the local Bolivar Peninsula community to provide a weekend-long entertainment venue showcasing local and national artists for the benefit of the Lone Survivor Foundation’s Crystal Beach retreat facility.
