January 5, 2018 Longview - Hana Bonner was named to the Fall 2017 Dean's List at LeTourneau University. The Dean's List recognizes students who have achieved a grade point average between 3.50 and 3.99 for the semester.
Bonner, a 2017 graduate of Joaquin High School, is a freshman at the university and her major is Kinesiology.
LeTourneau University President Dr. Dale A. Lunsford said being named to the Dean's List is a significant academic achievement and honor.
October 27, 2016 - LeTourneau University received a $600,000 Lilly Foundation grant to create a theological institute for high school students to explore their vocational calling.
The strategic initiative, called Passage Institute for Youth and Theology, will provide the opportunity for 50 high school students from around the Ark-La-Tex area each year to participate in a Passage Fellowship.
