Hospice of East Texas Announces 2018 Light Up a Life Celebration

October 26, 2018 - The Hospice of East Texas Annual Light up a Life Celebration will be held on Thursday, November 8, at 5:30 PM, 2018 indoors at The Hospice of East Texas Shop located 1012 N Street. 

Join us for a roll call and candle lighting in memory of your loved one to celebrate their life during the upcoming holidays and receive a keepsake candle. This is a FREE event for our friends and community regardless if your loved one was served by The Hospice of East Texas.

October 25, 2016 - The Hospice of East Texas Annual Light up a Life Celebration will be held on Thursday, November 10, at 5:30 PM, 2016 indoors at The Hospice of East Texas Shop located 1012 N Street.  

Join us for a roll call and candle lighting ceremony in memory of your loved one to celebrate their life during the upcoming holiday season.  Anyone from the community is invited to honor the memory of a friend or family member by attending this free event and will receive a keepsake candle.  Special music and refreshments will be provided.

Alzheimer's Caregivers Program Presented by Shannon Lutmer Rescheduled

Update and Change to Date: The special guest had a family emergency and we are having to postpone her visit to the support group until June 30th. The support group will still meet Thursday, May 26th, but the Presentation on Six Senses will be held on June 30th.

May 14, 2016 - A program for Alzheimer's caregivers is being presented on Thursday, May 26th, 2016 starting at 12:00 noon until 1:30pm at Nacogdoches Treatment Center.

Hospice of East Texas Announces Community Grief Support, Family Night

September 3, 2015 - Tuesday, September 15, 2015 Hospice of East Texas will be hosting a Community Grief Support: Family Night In Nacogdoches, Texas from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM.

Hospice of East Texas is a non-profit hospice agency serving the east Texas area. Family Night is a FREE event where grieving individuals of all ages can come together to share food, fellowship, and support. Join us Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Harvest Pointe Church 2708 South Street for a “Kaleidoscope of Change”.

Hospice of East Texas Announces Community Lunch and Learn

August 7, 2015 - The Hospice of East Texas announces a FREE community “lunch and learn” opportunity Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at Harvest Point Church, Nacogdoches, Texas.

Losing a loved one can leave our heats feeling broken and empty. Bring friend and join us for support, a generous helping of food, and a heaping amount of fellowship.

Prepare and bring your favorite dish along with a copy of the recipe. We will sample everyone’s favorite dish and send you home with a book of new recipes from the heart.
