October 12, 2020 - A time honored tradition continues at Tenaha Independent School District. Tenaha ISD recognizes those that have displayed outstanding dedication and commitment to their community. Through the years numerous members have been initiated into the Hall of Honor.

Tenaha Tiger Football's Adopt-a-Tiger Program

August 17, 2020 - Thank you for your consideration to be a part of our Adopt-A-Tiger program. We are very excited the capabilities this program has for both our student/athletes and our community. Through this program the goal is very simple, develop a relationship outside of sport to supply support to the student/athlete. It’s our hope this program will not just be beneficial to the student/athlete but also the mentoring family. It’s my hope that if you feel this is a program you can help with that you join our team and begin building a relationship with a Tiger!

Tenaha ISD Covid 19 Update; Includes Important Dates

April 1, 2020 - What a great turnout yesterday by the entire Tenaha school family to drive through and pick up their distance learning packets and materials. The administration team is extremely proud to report that 91% of our students are accounted for and working on their instructional materials from home.

Tenaha ISD to Resume Food Service on Monday, March 30

March 25, 2020 - At 10am starting on Monday, March 30th and everyday, Monday through Friday, and thereafter for the duration of the Covid-19 Lockdown, Tenaha ISD will offer Free Breakfast and Lunch to ALL CHILDREN within the TISD residential lines. We will be offering lunches for the day plus breakfast for the next day every day.

Tenaha Tigers Regional Tournament Information; Early Release Friday

March 4, 2020 - The Tigers advance to the Region 3 AA Tournament to be held March 6th and 7th in Bryan, TX. The Tenaha Tigers will take on the Grapeland Sandies, Friday, March 6th, at 6pm. The Tigers will be the visiting team. Winner advances to Game 3 to be held on Saturday, March 7th at 1:00pm.

Tenaha ISD will release at 11:30 am on Friday to allow for travel time.

January 2, 2020 - The 11th Annual Holiday Hoops Basketball Tournament began December 26, the day after Christmas, and included over 70 games played in three days in five great venues.

FAFSA Workshop at Tenaha ISD

November 12, 2019 - Tenaha ISD and Panola College will be working together to provide assistance to parents and students filling out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

The FAFSA workshop is for Senior students and their parents. The workshop is scheduled for Monday, November 18th, 7pm in the Tenaha High School Cafeteria. Denise Welsh from Panola College will be on hand to provide assistance in completing the federal financial aid application for college.
