Timpson High School Named National Beta School of Merit

May 6, 2021 - Timpson ISD is proud to announce that Timpson High School is a 2020-2021 National Beta School of Merit. The school earned this recognition by offering National Beta to all eligible grades on their campus.

Timpson ISD Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, 1st Grade Round Up

March 31, 2021 - It's time for the Timpson ISD Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and 1st Grade Round Up!

Registration for PK-4, Kindergarten and First grade for the 2021-2022 school year will be held Wednesday, April 7th from 9am -2:30pm outside of the elementary.

PK-4 Enrollment:
PK students must be 4 as of September 1, 2021. Parents or legal guardians must register students. The following information must be provided for students to be enrolled:

Timpson ISD Announces Tuesday School in Session

February 22, 2021 - Timpson ISD will be open on Tuesday February 23, 2021 at the normal time.

February 21, 2021 - Due to infrastructure issues, Timpson ISD will be closed for Monday, February 22, 2021. Please, monitor for an announcement about Tuesday classes.

Timpson ISD Closed Thursday, Friday

February 17, 2021Timpson ISD will be closed for this Thursday and Friday.

February 17, 2021 - Timpson ISD will continue remote learning for Thursday and Friday, February 18-19, of this week due to extreme weather in our area. Please, continue to watch for other announcements as school may not be able to operate remotely if our area continues to have widespread power outages. In this event, a decision for closure may take place and an announcement will be made.

Timpson ISD Severe Weather Outlook

February 12, 2021 - Due to the strong possibility of severe weather next week, Timpson ISD is making preparations to utilize remote learning for days students and teachers are unable to meet for in-person learning. A decision will not be made until later in the weekend and for now Timpson ISD plans to have classes as normal.

Timpson ISD Delayed Start for Jan. 12th

January 11, 2021 - Due to the possibility of freezing road surfaces and early visibility issues, TISD will begin school at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 12, 2021.

January 10, 2021 - Timpson ISD will be canceling school for tomorrow January 11, 2021. Enjoy the SNOW DAY and stay safe.

Timpson Bear Update: HS Basketball Tickets Going to Online Sales, No Gate Sales

January 8, 2021 - TISD must inform basketball fans that due to the 50% capacity rules in the State of Texas, we must require that all ticket purchases to Timpson High School basketball games be made online at Schooleventtickets.com. Therefore, there will no longer be tickets sold at the gate for high school basketball games for Timpson High School.

December 29, 2020 - To buy basketball tickets for Timpson High School use the QR Code and the below instructions. Players will get access to tickets in advance of the games. The public will get access 3 days prior to the games.

Timpson ISD Cancels School for Friday for Playoffs; Wishes Happy Thanksgiving

November 16, 2020 - Timpson ISD will be cancelling school for this Friday, November 20, 2020. Staff and students have worked extremely hard this year and we have been able to minimize closures and delays during this difficult time.

The Timpson Bears football team will be traveling to Palestine Westwood this Thursday to take on Leon in the Area round of the UIL playoffs at 7:00 P.M. "Go Bears"!!

Timpson ISD Reports 2 Confirmed Cases of COVID-19

November 13, 2020 - Timpson ISD needs to report that we have had two lab confirmed cases of Covid-19 since last Friday. One case is an employee at the elementary school and the other is a high school student. Parents, please monitor your children for symptoms and report to the school if your child begins having Covid-19 symptoms. TISD will follow protocol from the Texas Health Department and the Centers for Disease Control in our efforts to mitigate the spread of the virus. Your continued prayers are appreciated.
