November 17, 2015 - Timpson High School biology classes are learning about photosynthesis. They put on a "production" inside the chloroplast to show the chemical reactions that occur in photosynthesis. They learned that light energy, water, chlorophyll and carbon dioxide react to produce oxygen and glucose and then stores the energy.

November 17, 2015 - We are currently monitoring the rain. The kids are safe at school. Bus drivers will be reminded to drive with caution at release time this afternoon and to not enter standing or flowing water on roads. For now we will not be releasing early. If this changes notification will be sent. I feel it is safer for them to stay put at the moment than to enter storming rain.

November 16, 2015 - Timpson HS Bear Band is hosting a bake sale in the Quick Stop parking lot on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 starting at 9am until noon. We take pre-orders! Contact any THS Band Booster Member to place an order or ask questions. There will be pound cakes, pecan pies, cupcakes, brownies, sheet cakes, carrot cakes, cookies, pumpkin pie, sweet potatoe pie and much more. Let us handle your Thanksgiving baking this year!

November 13, 2015 - Timpson Elementary Agents for Change in cooperation with Timpson Food for Thought is sponsoring a nonperishable Food Drive for the people in our community who are less fortunate than others.
