July 11, 2018 - Center resident, Roger Doyle, was installed as District Governor at the Lions Club 101st International Convention held in Las Vegas on July 3, 2018.
July 4, 2016 - Incoming Worshipful Master Roger Doyle wishes to announce that Sam Samford Masonic Lodge #149 will hold its officers installation on Friday, July 8, 2016 at the Lodge located at 1680 Southview Circle. A covered dish dinner will begin at 6:30 with the installation to follow. This meeting is open to the public. Come join our members and new officers as we prepare for a new year of service.

The SCV is the direct heir of the United Confederate Veterans and was organized at Richmond, Virginia on July 1, 1896. We are an historical, patriotic and non-political organization dedicated to insuring that a true history of the 1861-1865 period is preserved.
