Transition to Adulthood Classes

February 29, 2024 - Are you a youth with a disability between the ages of 14 and 24? Do you have access to a computer and the internet? If your answer is yes to both of these questions, it is possible that you may qualify to attend an exciting new program offered by the Crockett-Palestine Resource Centers for Independent Living (CPRCIL).

Online Independent Living Class

February 29, 2024 - Crockett-Palestine Resource Centers for Independent Living (CPRCIL) are beginning a new online class, Independence Corner, for people with disabilities. Classes will be held on Mondays from 1pm to 2pm. The first class will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024.

The topics for the first series of classes include Making Decisions, Money Management, Career Preparation, Health and Nutrition, and Housing.

Independent Living Services for People with Disabilities

October 16, 2023 - Crockett Resource Center for Independent Living’s (CRCIL) Independent Living (IL) Services Program helps people with disabilities achieve greater independence in the home and community. Eligibility criteria for this program requires that the applicant has a significant disability who has been diagnosed by a licensed practitioner and resides in Texas.
