Boil Water Notice for Shelbyville Water System (Rescinded)

Update: On May 20, 2019, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Shelbyville public water system, 2100014 to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

Boil Water Notice for Community Public Water Systems Lifted

January 17, 2019 - On 01/10/2019, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Paxton public water system, 2100031 to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

October 23, 2018 - On October 17, 2018, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Paxton public water system, 2100012 to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

July 4, 2018 - The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Choice public water system on July 3, 2018, 2100005 to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.   

Paxton Water Supply Issues Boil Water Notice Rescinded

January 26, 2018 - On January 19, 2018, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Paxton public water system, 2100031 to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

Boil Water Notice for Community Public Water Systems Rescinded

January 11, 2018 - The public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of 1/11/2018. November 8, 2017 - On November 2, 2017, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality required the Choice public water system, 2100005 to issue a Boil Water Notice to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.

Boil Water Notice for Community Public Water Systems

November 2, 2017 - Due to a break in the main line, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality has required the Choice public water system ID# 2100005 to notify all customers on Hwy 96, that were without water, to boil their water prior to consumption (e.g., washing hands/face, brushing teeth, drinking, etc). Children, seniors, and persons with weakened immune systems are particularly vulnerable to harmful bacteria, and all customers should follow these directions). 

Paxton Water Supply Public Notice To Boil Water (Updated)

May 28, 2017 - It is no longer necessary for Paxton Water customers to boil their drinking water.


May 23, 2017 - Due to line break, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required our water System, Paxton Water, to notify customers of the need to boil their water prior to consumption. This is for the customers that were out of water on May 23, 2017 in the Paxton area, and surrounding county roads.

Shelbyville Water Public Notice to Boil Water Lifted

April 4, 2017 - It is no longer necessary for customers on the Shelbyville Water Supply that were without water on March 28, 2017 to boil their drinking water.


March 28, 2017 - Due to line break, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) has required our water System, Shelbyville Water, to notify customers of the need to boil their water prior to consumption. This is for the customers that were out of water on March 28, 2017 on FM 417 E and FM 417 W.
