Sixth Annual Happenings at Shelbyille Hill Plans Finalized

September 11, 2017 - Shelbyville, Texas – Plans for the 6th annual Happenings at Shelbyville Hill Fest on Saturday, October 21, 2017 are now finalized. Through the help and support of our title Sponsor Farmers State Bank and many other local businessness and residents, our festival will once again be a big success. Located in Shelbyville, Texas, the festival begins at 10am and lasts until 5pm.

Shelbyville Lions Club Selling Funnel Cakes, Sweet Tea at Watermelon Festival

July 6, 2017 - The Shelbyville Lions Club will be selling funnel cakes and sweet tea along with raffle tickets for our upcoming drawing in October.

This is the 2nd year the Shelbyville Lions Club will participate in the Watermelon Festival. Proceeds go toward our scholarship fund, emergency assistance fund for families in need, supporting local children attending Lions Camp for the disabled, numerous Lions Club International projects and a long term goal of establishing a permanent facility for the SLC and Shelbyville Community.

Shelbyville Antiques, Vintage Mayfair Canceled

May 16, 2017 - Out of respect to families, Shelbyville school district and all involved with recent events, the Shelbyville Lions Club is canceling the Antiques and Vintage Mayfair, originally scheduled for Saturday May 20, 2017.  The Shelbyville Lions Club extends condolences and prayers to our community.  We apologize for any inconvenience to those who planned to attend the event. 

May 9, 2017 - The Shelbyville Lions club will be accepting applications for the Shelbyville Antiques & Vintage Mayfair  through Friday May 12, 2017.

Shelbyville Lions Club Antiques & Vintage Mayfair Cancelled

April 20, 2017 Shelbyville –The 2nd Shelbyville Antiques and Vintage Mayfair has been rescheduled from Saturday, May 6, 2017 to Saturday, May 20, 2017. Presented by the Shelbyville, Texas Lions Club, the event will last from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. With the growing success and community support of other Shelbyville Lions Club activities, the club chose to have a spring function to further grow the scholarship and community fund.

March 15, 2017 - Shelbyville, Texas – Plans are well under way for the 2nd Shelbyville Antiques and Vintage Mayfair that will take place on Saturday, May 6, 2017.  Presented by the Shelbyville, Texas Lions Club, the event will last from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm. With the growing success and community support of other Shelbyville Lions Club activities, the club chose to have a spring function to further grow their scholarship and community fund.

Fifth Annual Happenings at Shelbyville Hill Plans Finalized

September 12, 2016 - Plans for the 5th annual Happenings at Shelbyville Hill Fest on Saturday, October 15, 2016 are now finalized. Through the help and support of our title Sponsor Farmers State Bank and many other local businessness and residents, our festival will once again be a big success. Located in Shelbyville, Texas, the festival begins at 10:00 a.m. and lasts until 5:00 p.m. Festival music will feature return engagements by The Blake Brothers Bluegrass Band and the Bluebirds, with their Blues/Soul/Dance sound.
