January 18, 2019 - The Annual CMS Semi-Formal Dance will be held on February 8 from 6-9 pm in the High school Cafeteria. Only CMS students will be admitted. Students may begin purchasing tickets January 22 for $10 each.

January 17, 2019 - Roughrider Academy will graduate 12 students at the the winter graduation ceremony in the Center High School cafeteria on Thursday, January 17 from 6:30 p.m. until approximately 7:15. Seven students will receive the Roughrider Foundation Scholarship.

The public is welcome to watch the graduation. The audience and participants may enter through the doors next to the student parking lot.

January 16, 2019 - Center Intermediate School announces the all A and all A/B Honor Rolls for second 9 weeks of the 2018-2019 school year. Students have maintained an above 90 average in all subjects or an above 80 average in all subjects in order to be listed on the Honor Roll.

January 14, 2019 - Center High School junior Mark Perkins placed third and was voted the Outstanding Presiding Officer at the UIL State Congressional Debate tournament in the 4A conference at the state capitol on Jan 9.
