June 11, 2020 – Nacogdoches-Angelina-Trinity-San Augustine-Shelby County USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) Executive Director Lance Jacobs, announced that the nomination period for local FSA county committees will begin on Monday, June 15, 2020.

"County Committees are unique to FSA and allow producers to have a voice on federal farm program implementation at the local level," said Jacobs.

March 26, 2020 - USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) county offices are open in Texas by phone appointment only until further notice, and FSA staff are available to continue helping agricultural producers with program signups, loan servicing and other important actions. Additionally, FSA is relaxing the loan-making process and adding flexibilities for servicing direct and guaranteed loans to provide credit to producers in need.

June 22, 2022 - Nacogdoches, Angelina, Trinity, San Augustine-Shelby Farm Service Agency will conduct public meetings to discuss the County Committee election / nomination process and other FSA assistance programs. County Executive Director, Lance Jacobs, will be available at the following meetings:

November 6, 2018 - Ballots for the 2018 Angelina-Nacogdoches-Trinity-San Augustine-Shelby Farm Service Agency county committee elections began on Monday, Nov. 5, with the mailing of ballots to eligible voters. The deadline to return the ballots to local FSA offices is Dec.3, 2018.
 

June 12, 2018 - The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) encourages America’s farmers and ranchers to nominate candidates to lead, serve and represent their community on their local county committee. According to USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) Nacogdoches-Angelina-Trinity-San Augustine-Shelby County Executive Director, Lance Jacobs, FSA will accept nominations for county committee members beginning Friday, June 15, 2018.
