Dragons Win Rain Delayed Baseball Contest Over Tigers

Saturday, March 25, 2017, Tenaha Tigers Cole DePriest Ballpark –

Due to lightning it took the Shelbyville Dragons Varsity Baseball Team two trips but they eventually beat the Tenaha Tigers, on their own home turf, by a 12-6 score. On Friday the Dragons used four walks, and an error to gain a 2-0 advantage before the game was suspended, after an inning and a half, due to lightning in the immediate area.

They trail Joaquin who is 5-0 and Gary, and Woden who are at 4-1 in league play. The Dragons are 12-6 overall this season. The Dragons will host the Martinsville Pirates on Tuesday, March 28 at 4:30 p.m.
