Billy Ray Davis, 87, of Timpson, Texas passed away on June 19, 2018 in Timpson, Texas. Born August 25, 1930, in Timpson, Texas, Billy is the son of the late William Leonard and Annabell (McCormack) Davis.
Graveside service will be at 2PM on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Timpson Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Timpson, Texas with Bro. Ronnie Sowell officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the service on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 1PM at Timpson Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Bill attended Birdville High School in Fort Worth, Texas. He was drafted in the 25th Infantry Division of the United States Army during the Korean War in 1952 and proudly served his country. He worked as a Civil Engineer for many years retiring from Beacon-Bechtel with over 20 years of service. Bill loved his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling around the world. He spent muchtime hunting, fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his lovely wife Ann.
