Darrell Shofner, Sr., 82, of Center, passed away Friday, November 10, 2017, at his residence.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, November 11, 2017, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 12, 2017, at Latham Cemetery in Shelby County, with Bro. Chris Collins officiating.
Mr. Shofner was born January 19, 1935, in Shelbyville, to Henry Marvin Shofner and Annie Zella Litton Shofner. He served as Airman First Class in the United States Air Force from June 23, 1954 until December 17, 1957. Mr. Shofner loved the outdoors, specifically gardening and taking care of his animals.
