Marcia Lamkin Eberenz, 92, of Center, Texas, passed away peacefully, April 14, 2024, San Augustine, Texas. She was born on April 3, 1932, in Center, Texas, to the late Wilbur Cade Lamkin and Lucille (Samford) Lamkin.
Funeral service will be held at 1PM on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Mangum Funeral Home, with Bro. Ozay Ford officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024, prior to the service beginning at 12PM at Mangum Funeral Home.
Marcia was born and raised in Shelby County. She married the love of her life, Willie Eberenz, in 1957 and the two spent over 65 years together before his passing in 2022. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved her family dearly. Marcia worked for Center Motor Company in the accounting department for over 67 years before retiring. She was a member of Saint Marks Methodist Church in Center.

Marcia is preceded in death by her husband, Willie Charles “Bill” Eberenz; parents, Wilbur and Lucille Lamkin; brother, Rayford Lamkin; and sisters, Glenda Faye Brown and Neva Partridge.
