Evelyn Inez Drewery Lombardo, 82, of Cumming, GA died a peaceful death with her family around her on the morning of June 24, 2009. A native of East Texas and longtime resident of Forsyth and Dawson counties, she was the daughter of the late William and Inez Drewery. Evelyn was born in Texas before common people had electric lights, cars, televisions -- no supermarkets chains and McDonalds did not exist.

Evelyn had a profound effect on all she met because she always put before them God’s Kingdom as mankind’s only hope for a new heaven and new earth. In faith and obedience, she displayed loyal love to all. She will always be known first and foremost as a true ambassador of the King Christ Jesus and God’s everlasting Kingdom (Isaiah 9:6, 7).

She and Albert Lombardo, Sr. were the parents of William Lombardo, Therese Lombardo-Brown, Albert R. Lombardo, Jr. and Joe L. Lombardo and the grandparents of 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Memorial services were on Sunday, June 28, 2009 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Dawsonville, GA.

Condolences may be expressed on-line at www.mcdonaldandson.com.

Arrangements by McDonald and Son Funeral Home & Crematory, 150 Sawnee Drive, Cumming, GA 30040 (770) 886-9899
