Mr. David Wayne Burgin, age 57, of Nacogdoches County, Texas, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011, at a Nacogdoches hospital.

Mr. Burgin was born July 22, 1954, in Nacogdoches County to the late Alma Littlefield Day and Walter Burgin. He was employed by A&W Bearings in shipping, receiving, and delivery department and had a love for the outdoors. David was a graduate of Nacogdoches High School.

He is survived by his wife, Janette Burgin of Nacogdoches County; son, Wayne Burgin and wife Latricia of Timpson; son, Gary Burgin and wife Britni of Garrison; daughter, Amanda Burgin of Center; daughter, Lori Austin of League City; son, Mack Austin of Austin; brother, Donnie Burgin of Nacogdoches; brother, Thomas Day and wife Kimberly of Wichita, Kansas; sister, Linda Jones and husband Dusty of Nacogdoches; brother, Bob Day and wife Cidney of Douglass; granddaughter, Jessica Burgin; and grandsons, Dustin Burgin, Matthew Burgin, Brayden Miller, and Zane Miller.

Funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011, at Cason Monk-Metcalf Sunset Chapel, located at 5400 North Street in Nacogdoches, with Bro. Josh Walters and Bro. Jim Rhoads officiating. Interment will follow at Simpson Campground Cemetery, located on County Road 411 in Woden.

Visitation will be held Friday, Sept. 30, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Cason Monk-Metcalf, located at 5400 North St. in Nacogdoches.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Burgin, Thomas Day, Eddy Arnold, Mack Austin, and Mike Butler. Honorary pallbearers will be Lewis Butler and Dan Casper.

Arrangements are under the direction of Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors, located at 5400 North St. in Nacogdoches, Texas.

Clarence E. Braddock III, 28, tragically passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2011 in Nacogdoches, Texas. He was born on Sunday, July 3, 1983 in Galveston, Texas.

Clarence is survived by his loving mother, Diane Sullivan and husband, Clivey of Center, Texas; father, Clarence E. Braddock Jr. of Palestine, Texas; siblings, Bryan Neal and wife, Lisa of Cleveland, Texas, John Neal and wife, Melissa of Livingston, Texas, Leanne Mason and husband, Doyle of Livingston, Texas; Neal Braddock and wife Stephanie of Alvin, Texas, Jodie Braddock and wife, Tracy of Alvin, Texas; fiancé, Christie Mauldin and children Lane and Alyssa of Santa Fe, Texas; along with numerous other loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Clarence had a passion for fishing; he was loved by many and will be truly missed.

Visitation for Clarence will be held at Watson and Sons Funeral Home in Center, Texas on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 from 5:00pm – 9:00pm. A graveside service will be held at 12:00pm on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Liberty Hill Cemetery in San Augustine, Texas.

Sandra Howard Tillotson, 61, of Timpson, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2011 at her residence. She was born on January 21, 1950 in Wynn, Arkansas to George Oliver Howard and Dorothy Marie Roach Howard. She owned and operated Howard Happy Cooker for many years.

As per her request, Mrs. Tillotson’s body has been donated to the Anatomical Board of the State of Texas and Parker College of Chiropractic.

Memorial services will be held at 6:00pm on Thursday, September 29, 2011.

Tania Trejo-Uribe, 18, of Tenaha, passed away Friday, September 23, 2011 at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler after a brief battle with cancer.

Services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 26, 2011 at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, September 25, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mangum Funeral Home.

Johnny Ray Renfro of Timpson, Texas went home to be with our Heavenly Father, September 22, 2011 at his home in Timpson after a battle with lung cancer. He was born December 15, 1941 in Waterman, Shelby County, Texas to the late Marshall and Lois Allison Renfro. He was a graduate of Timpson High School, Class of 1959, a member of the fellowship Missionary Baptist Church, Pasadena, Texas and a member of the Timpson Masonic Lodge. He moved to Houston, Texas in the early sixties and began a career with Houston Lighting and Power later to become CenterPoint Energy before serving in the United States Army during the Viet Nam War. Upon returning home from service, Johnny picked up his career with CenterPoint Energy and was a crew leader for substation maintenance. he retired in 1997 and moved to Timpson. Johnny didn't get out and go a lot but that didn't stop him from vitiation with family and friends and those checking on the sick, having a fun conversation, calling to say "hello", just keeping in touch whether it was someone right down the road, across town or in another city. he enjoyed talking to people and helping others. Johnny's love for children has been evident throughout his life. Precious memories will be held close to the heart of many young people whose lives have been touched by Uncle Johnny. he will be deeply, deeply missed. Left to cherish his memory is his best friend and devoted wife of 48 years, Louise Hudson Renfro; his sister, Marcia Kesterton and husband Hollis of Longview; sister-in-law, Gerry Powdrill of Timpson; mother-in-law, Helen Hudson of Timpson; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jim and Shirley Powers of Timpson. Others left to treasure his memory are many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Lee Powdrill and nephews, Michael Eldridge and Patrick J. Powers.

Funeral services for Johnny Ray Renfro will be held at 10 am, Monday, September 26, 2011, at Timpson Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Justin Coburn officiating. Mary Lois Rash, 49, died Thursday, September 22, 2011 in the Parkland Hospital in Dallas after an illness. She was born September 28, 1961 in Dallas to Gaston L. and Evelyn Jones Ray. Mary was a CNA with Outreach Home Health in Hemphill. Mary was a member of New Hope Baptist Church in Milam.

She is survived by her husband Derrick Rash of Hemphill, two brothers; Mike Ray of Broaddus and Jimmy Ray of Portland, OR, three sisters; Betty of Oklahoma, Sue "Susie" Brown of Hemphill and Carol Taylor and husband Ronnie of McKinney, TX.

Wedgeworth, 81, of Center, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Willis Knighton North Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana.  He was born in Jasper, Texas on October 6, 1929 to Elmer Wedgeworth and Marjorie Hancock Wedgeworth.  Mr. Wedgeworth was a member of the Dewitt Clinton Masonic Lodge No. 29 in Jasper and Family Life Christian Life Fellowship in Sugarland.

Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, September 23, 2011 at Watson and Sons Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 24, 2011 at Watson and Sons Chapel with Bro. Kenneth Wayne Neal was born February 20, 1953, in San Antonio, Texas to Bessie (Eberlan) and the late Huron Neal. He entered into rest in Lufkin, Texas September 13, 2011, attaining the age of 58 years, 5 months and 24 days.

Mr. Neal was of the Baptist faith. He served in the U.S. Army. He worked for many years as a truck driver.

He is survived by his sons Scotty Neal of Shelbyville, Texas and Nathan Neal and wife Kea of San Augustine, Texas; daughter Jennifer Neal of Orange, Texas; mother Bessie Bryan of San Augustine; sisters Vonda Rachal of Lufkin and Kayla Moore of Washington, D.C.; brothers Perry Neal, Gary Neal and Terry Neal - all of Kennard, Texas; 12 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

Mrs. Novis Nell Williams, 85, of San Augustine, passed from this life early Monday morning, September 12, 2011, in San Augustine, Texas.

A native of San Augustine County, Texas, Novis was born to Ethel Mae (Wade) Fox and John Mult Fox on June 5, 1926. She was a Owner of a Beauty Shop in Port Arthur, Texas for a number of years and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in San Augustine, Texas.

Funeral Services will be held on 10 a.m. Saturday, September 17, 2011, in the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel with Bro. Doug Fincher and Bro. Brent Uzzell officiating. Interment will follow in the Little Flock Cemetery in San Augustine County, Texas.

Kaitlyn Elise Flaherty was born on May 15, 1996 in Dallas, Texas to Sean and Bridget Britt Flaherty. She went dancing into the open arms of her Lord September 8, 2011.

Kaitlyn attended Midlothian High School where she was a member of the Student Council and the Pantherette’s. She was very active in the Youth Ministry at FUMC and was a VBS Leader. She loved dancing all her life especially with the Rhythm Dancers and On the Move Dance Studio. She was a MYF Cheerleader and a member of the Junior Honor Society.

Kaitlyn will be remembered for her beautiful smile and spirit, along with her love for pink and lots of “bling”. She was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend. She will be missed by all whose lives came into contact with her.

Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 12, 2011 at First United Methodist Church of Midlothian with Rev. Allyson Paxton officiating.

Harlan F. Adams, 90, of Center, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2011 at Pine Grove Nursing Home in Center. He was born on January 6, 1921 in Shelby County to Henry F. Adams and Maudie Soape Adams. Mr. Adams served in the United States Army from June 2, 1942 to May 17, 1945. He was a member of the Spann’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and a past member of the Sam Houston Masonic Lodge No. 32 in Shelbyville.

Visitation will be held from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Saturday, September 10, 2011 and from 5:00pm to 7:00pm on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at Watson and Sons Funeral Home. Mr. Christopher Richard Hagler, 52, of San Augustine, passed from this life on Monday, September 5, 2011, in San Augustine, Texas, after a extended illness.

Chris was a native of San Augustine County, Texas, he was born on March 2, 1959, to Julia (Noble) Hagler and Charles Lamar Hagler. He had obtained a Associate Degree, and was employed as a Computer Aided Draftsman working in Surveying.

Graveside Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at the Antioch Cemetery in San Augustine County, Texas, with Rev. Rick Russell officiating. Visitation will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at the Antioch Cemetery.

He attended St. Therese Catholic Church. Mr. McSwain loved to play his steel guitar, and after his retirement he enjoyed his cows and music.

Coach Bill Milam, 85, of Joaquin, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2011 in Center.  He was born on November 13, 1925 in Brownwood to Albert Feldman Milam and Lonie Mae Harwell Milam. Mr. Milam served in the U. S. Army as part of the 36th Division. He retired in 1986 as principal of Joaquin High School. Prior to his retirement he was a teacher and coach for 39 years. Mr. Milam was a 50 year member of Joaquin Masonic Lodge #856 in Joaquin. He served for over 10 years as a director of the Hinkel Schillings Fox Pen in Huxley and he was a member of the First Baptist Church in Haslam.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, September 5, 2011 at Watson and Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Haslam with Bro.
