April 12, 2021 - Center of the Universe Raceway Festival is Saturday, April 17, 2021 on the inside of the downtown Center Square. Registration is at 2pm, after businesses have closed. If the community is receptive to this activity, the upcoming schedule will tentatively be the 3rd Saturday of the 3rd month of each quarter.
Dust off and shine those Bikes, Trykes, Scooter, Big Wheels, Skate Boards. Charge up and shine up those Battery Operated Vehicles and Remote Control Vehicles. Name your Pit Crew for the Trophy of Flags you could win racing in the First Quarterly Raceway Festival on the downtown Center Square.
Purpose: To help fund local non-profits: Like First Responder Scholarships for Mirroring Community Ethnicities.
What: Racing qualifying riders in the Indy 500 lap races, Strait Line Speed Races, and Obstacle Course.
Who and How: Kids age groups 2-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10 and up operating these particular Hot Rods: Striders, Scooters, Bicycles, Tricycles, Big Wheels, 6v and 12v Battery operated vehicles, RCD - Remote Control Drivers
- Register on the day of the event, $5 per race pendent.
- Sign thank you cards for Donors and Volunteers - Supporting Center of the Universe Raceway Festival.
- Participate in the Yard Games while waiting for the Races to begin.
- Participate in Sidewalk Chalk Art
- Decorate your trophy -- with Pit Crew Name, Pendent#
- Earn tickets (when racing) or purchase 25 cent tickets to enter into the $200 dollars worth of prizes.
And end your day of fun in The Winners Circle with you, your pit crew, trophy, and winnings!
