End Human Trafficking Event Set for Jan. 18th in Center

January 11, 2022 - The public is invited to Portacool Park on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 12 noon for an "End Human Trafficking" event. January is National Human Trafficking Awareness Month and the Family Crisis Center of East Texas is hosting a luncheon to help raise awareness with education about truths and myths surrounding Human Trafficking, identifying signs, and actions to take if you believe something suspicious is happening. Human trafficking exists everywhere including small communities.

Portacool Park is located at 101 Henrietta Road, Center, Texas. The Family Crisis Center of East Texas is a non-profit organization that empowers survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault by providing crisis intervention and advocacy services. The FCCET also engages the community through education to build awareness and prevent domestic violence and sexual assault.
