Charles Orville Leflett, 70, of Joaquin, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2024, in Joaquin. Born June 9, 1954, in Shreveport, Louisiana, Charles is the son of Orville Leflett and Iris V. Martin Leflett.
Charlie was loved deeply by his family and admired by so many. His life never lacked action or determination as he lived it to the fullest with grit and grace. Charlie showed all of those around just how “Cowboy Tough” he was, yet at the same time full of love and compassion. He was so proud of where and what he came from, always smiling when he told stories about how he was raised with his brother and sisters. Charlie was most proud to be called husband, father, son, brother, and grandfather. He enjoyed every day, even throughout the battles he faced. “The Lord’s will be done” is what he leaned on and believed his entire life. After 70 years, God called him home, healed his body, and made him whole again. Those that were blessed to love him will miss his joy, love, light, contagious laughter and big hugs he gave so freely.
Charlie was welcomed into Heaven by his Father and Mother, Orville and Iris Leflett; sisters, Quelda, Leurene and Wanda.
Charlie is survived by:
Wife of 47 years, Glenda
Daughter, Alex Anne Rowe (Ashley)
Son, Cole Leflett (Brookie)
Grandchildren: Alexis and Addison Rowe, Chancie Jones and Doc Leflett
Great-Grandson, Charlie
Brother, Bobby Leflett (Nancy)
