Frances Dover McMahon, known as Boo to those who loved her, 71, of Center, passed away peacefully at home on September 30, 2024, with her loved ones by her side.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 4, 2024, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Bro. Lamar Rash and Bro. Chris Collins will officiate. Interment will follow at McClelland Cemetery in Shelby County.
Born April 27, 1953, in Center, Frances is the daughter of Joe Dover and Jeanne Wittorff Dover. After graduating from Shelbyville High School, she went to Panola College School of Nursing. Frances worked as a nurse for several years and also worked as a poultry and cattle farmer. She loved spending time with her husband, Tommy, whether it was hunting, traveling, or working on the farm. Frances was a member of McClelland Community Church.

Preceded in death by her parents, Joe Dover and Jeanne Wittorff Dover; sister, Dee Walters; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hoy and Avis McMahon; brother-in-law, Jim McMahon; daughter-in-law, Linda McMahon; and nephew, Artie Longron.
Pallbearers will be Rick Foehner, Brad Moody, Chad Menefee, TJ Goodwyn, Daniel Rash, and Michael Sims.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cade Foehner, Jack Massey, Brandon Eaves, Ryan Tuomey, and David Jeans.
