George N. Shull, Jr., 79, of Shelbyville, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2023, in Nacogdoches.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Strong Cemetery in Huxley with Bro. Billy Windham officiating.
George was born April 11, 1944, in Shelby County, to George Nolan Shull and Lillian Guidry Shull. He worked in the oilfield for several years. As a hobby he enjoyed deer hunting and running his dogs. George was an involved member of New Harmony Missionary Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by his parents, George Nolan Shull and Lillian Guidry Shull; brother, Eugene Shull; and sister, Jo Ann Shofner.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bubba Shofner, Troy Shofner, and Robert Shull.
