Jimmy Ray Garrett (69 of Joaquin) was born July 21, 1954 to Lee Earl Garrett, Sr. and Jessie B. Williams Garrett. His transition was quiet and peaceful in his home on Wednesday, May 8, 2024.
Service is 11am Tuesday, May 14 at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Center. Interment is at Westview Cemetery in Center with Pastor Johnny Jones officiating. Visitation is Monday, May 13 from 12noon until 5pm at Community Funeral Home Chapel in Center.
As a child, he attended school in Joaquin, Texas.
Jimmy was retired from working at Automotive Collision Specialist in Center, Texas, where he worked for several years.
He is preceded in death by both his parents, Lee and Jessie Garrett; five brothers, Willie, Arthur, Archie, Sammy, and Larry; and one sister, Avis Garrett Crowder.
