Jimmy Wayne Jackson, 80, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, November 3, 2025, in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, November 6, 2025, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with visitation beginning at Noon. Bro. Kevin Windham will officiate. Interment will follow at West Hamilton Cemetery in Shelby County.
Born March 14, 1945, in Center, Jimmy is the son of Will Jackson and Viola Deason Jackson. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and taking care of his cows and his dogs- Blue and Dolly. Jimmy was a big time Dallas Cowboy Fan.

Daughter, Bridget and husband Lance Hughes of Timpson
Granddaughter, Holly Hughes of Timpson
Brother, Douglas Jackson and wife Marcell of Center

Preceded in death by his daughter, Farrah Jackson; grandson, Jacob Hughes; parents, Will Jackson and Viola Deason Jackson; brothers, W.J. Jackson, Belton Jackson, Lavon Jackson, Tommy Jackson, Murl Jackson, Bobby Jackson, Eugene Jackson, Don Jackson, and Billy Joe Jackson; sister, Gracie Wilson; and brothers-in-law, Wayne Elliott and A.G. Elliott.
Pallbearers will be Roy Bailey, Bradley Bailey, Mike Nichols, Freeman Nichols, Cecil Jackson, and Roger Jackson. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Jackson and Roger Windham.
