L. B. Penson, 90 of Lufkin, Texas, died on Monday, September 11, 2023, at his residence. He was born to the late Albert Penson and Linny Long Penson on May 29, 1933, in Wells, Texas.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, September 16, 2023, at 1pm at Ligon Chapel CME Church at 565 Deason LP, Apple Springs, Texas 75926 (Nigton Community) with Pastor Larry Wolfe. Visitation is Friday, September 15, 2023, at 212 Garvan Street, Lufkin, Texas from the hours of 6pm to 8pm. Burial is at Nigton Cemetery.
