Born November 30, 1942, in Dallas, Linda is the daughter of James E. Tyre and Bessie Johnston Tyre.  She loved her family and was proud of the Tyre clan. Linda was always ready to tell a good story and boasted of them often. Family, friends, and neighbors knew she loved a good party and may have been “fashionably late,” but once she arrived, that’s when the fun started. Linda loved big and was good at everything she did. Whether it was horses, animals, the care of her home, or her beautiful flowers and yard (which she was famous for), Linda put her all in it. Linda was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Center.
