Magalis Yanez Perez, 48, of Nacogdoches, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021, in Nacogdoches.
Visitation will be held from 3:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Watson and Sons Funeral Home in Center with funeral service at 3pm, Sunday. Pastor Osbaldo Hernandez will officiate. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.
Born March 29, 1973, in Cardenas, Tabasco, Mexico, Magalis is the daughter of Victorio Yanez and Petronila Perez. She was a member of Seventh Day Adventist in Lufkin.
Magalis Yáñez was a wife, mother, grandmother loved by all who knew her and if they did not know her, it would not take much to love her and see her generosity. She was one of the most helpful souls on this planet who never rejected anyone in need. She always put others before herself. She was one of a kind and will be missed by many.
Our mother has left this world and gone home to the Lord. She spread her wings on the morning of October 12, 2021 and is no longer suffering as she had been in recent weeks due to her illness.
Our mother was a very strong, kind, loving and humble of heart women. She really was a very valuable woman; the woman who brought us into the world. I really have no words to describe the great pain it has been to lose her. My heart is no longer complete. But we know that you are in a better place and we can only wait to meet you. We will see you one day dear mother, we love you and we will love you always.

Las visitas se llevarán a cabo de 3:30 p.m. a 9:00 p.m., el Sábado 16 de Octubre de 2021, en Watson & Sons Funeral Home en Center con servicio funerario a las 3:00 p.m., Domingo. El Pastor Osbaldo Hernández oficiará. El entierro seguirá en Oaklawn Memorial Park en Center.
Nacida el 29 de Marzo de 1973 en Cárdenas, Tabasco, México, Magalis es hija de Victorio Yáñez y Petronila Pérez. Fue miembro de Seventh Day Adventist en Lufkin.
Magalis Yáñez fue esposa, madre, abuela querida por todos los que la conocieron y si no la conocían no hacía falta mucho para quererla y ver su generosidad. Ella era una de las almas más serviciales de este planeta que nunca rechazó a nadie que lo necesitara. Ella siempre anteponía a los demás antes que a ella misma. Ella era única en su clase y muchos la extrañarán.
Nuestra madre ha dejado este mundo y se ha ido a casa con el señor. Ella extendió sus alas la mañana, 12 de octubre de 2021 y ya no sufre como había estado las últimas semanas debido a su enfermedad.
Nuestra madre era una mujer muy fuerte, amable, cariñosa, y humilde de corazón. Realmente era una mujer muy valiosa, la mujer que nos trajo al mundo. Realmente no tengo palabras para describir el dolor tan grande que ha sido perderla. Nuestros corazon ya no esta completo. Pero sabemos que estás en un mejor lugar y no nos queda mas que esperar para reunirnos contigo. Te veremos un día madrecita querida, te amamos y te amaremos siempre.
Le sobrevive su marido, Areli Antonio Echeverria of Nacogdoches; niños, Ricardo Echeverria of Mexico, Maria Elena Echeverria of Nacogdoches, Estefania Echeverria of Center, Areli Antonio Echeverria of Nacogdoches, and Briseida Echeverria of Nacogdoches; nietos, Julieth Briseida Castillo Echeverria, Jesus Alexander Castillo, Eduarda Javier Sotero, y Hannah Valeria Echeverria.
Precedida en la muerte por su padre, Victorio Yanez.
