Sherry was born November 2, 1962, in Memphis, Tennessee. Words that describe Sherry are simple. She was a very devoted wife, loving mother, and doting Meme for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. To be honest, she loved all children and would tell them to call her Meme. Her world revolved around her family. She particularly loved those grands and great grands! If anyone needed her time or efforts, she was sure to give all she could.

She spent 25 years working at Nacogdoches Medical Center. She told herself that she was going to be there for her family and move mountains for them. So that day she started studying and studying and secured her license to be an Echo Cardiogram Technician. Sherry never met a stranger. She would go out of her way to help the patients and their supporting families to be as comfortable as she could. As well as being attentive to surviving relatives to those who lost loved ones.

In her free time, she enjoyed camping at the lake and relaxing by the water. She loved to take in the sights and sounds of whatever area they were staying. Sitting by the campfire was her favorite place to be even if it was 105 degrees outside.

Steve was the love of her life. She fell head over heels in love with him the first time she laid eyes on him. He was her hero and her knight in shining armor. She thanked God every day for bringing him into her life.
