Thomas H. Harvey, 74, of Joaquin, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021, in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, February 21, 2021, at Watson and Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 22, 2021, at Watson and Sons Chapel with Bro. Michael McArthur officiating. Interment will follow at Strong Cemetery in Huxley.
Born April 15, 1946, in Converse, Louisiana, Thomas is the son of the late John Eddie Harvey and Edna Cassell Harvey. In his early years, he managed Harvey’s Landing and also ran 4H Gator Farms. Thomas retired from public education and coaching, having worked in Shelbyville, Joaquin, Tenaha, Waskom, and Converse. He was a member of Lydia Missionary Baptist Church in Huxley.

Pallbearers will be Tim Wilkerson, Blake Roberts, Matt Mathews, Andrew Dolan, Brandon Dolan, Bubba Lewis, Jay Jones, Gunner Nelson, and Tray Wilkerson. Honorary pallbearers will be Glenn Gray, Johnny Mac Daw, Myron Prince, Doug Cogswell, Ronnie Wolfe, and JISD School Board Members and Coaches.
