June 14, 2016 - Flyer - The City of Center has received a HOME Program grant from the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. The funds will be used to assist eligible homeowners to completely reconstruct or rehabilitate their homes.
The City will be holding two public meetings at the Windham Civic Center on Thursday, June 16. One meeting will be at 2:30pm and one will be at 5:30pm. Topics that will be discussed include: How to qualify for the program, Income limits, Available funding and all eligible funding activities.
Homeowners that are not able to attend the meetings may call Jim Gibson at 936-598-2941 to obtain an application form. Applications must be turned in at Center City Hall located at 617 Tenaha St. Special assistance in obtaining application forms is available upon request for persons with disabilities.
