June 23, 2023 - Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the governing body of the City of Timpson will be held on the 27th day of June, 2023 at 5pm at Timpson City Hall, 456 Jacob St., Timpson, Texas, at which time the following subjects will be considered, to-wit:
1. Discuss and possibly take action: Discuss and possibly take action to approve the bid received from Sanders Creek for the construction project on 3rd St.
2. Discuss and possibly take action: Discuss and possibly take action to approve Dehart Animal Clinic to come to Timpson’s downtown area to offer spay/neuter services.
3. Discuss and possibly take action: Discuss and possibly take action to approve the Chamber booking the Culpepper & Merriweather Circus at SoSo Park in October, 2023.
The Council reserves the right to retire into executive session concerning any of the items listed on this agenda whenever it is considered necessary and is legally justified under the Open Meetings Act.
