We are now in the season of Lent, the six weeks that lead to Easter Sunday. It's a period often connected with the practice of fasting, a practice that is encouraged many, many times in the Word of God. We usually connect fasting with food, but it can actually involve any part of our lives. Here are some thoughts, attributed to Pope Francis, that are worthy of your consideration today.
