April 23, 2015 - Shelby County Today has been receiving reports for of all things a "garlicky" odor in Center on Wednesday, April 22, 2015.

 April 22, 2015 - Heavy rains on Saturday, April 18, 2015 contributed to a single-vehicle crash on State Highway 7.

April 20, 2015 (Album 1, Album 2) - Center Garden Club held their annual flower show at the Community House in Center on Friday, April 17, 2015. Plants covered the building with entries from garden club members and Center Elementary School students.

April 16, 2015 - Two F.L. Moffett students became honorary firemen, as much to their delight and to the awe of fellow students, they rode in a Center Fire Department fire truck from school.

April 13, 2015 - The Shelby County Commissioners approved the rental of the old Center Elementary School Gym to Denetra Slaughter and Celia Aguilar for one year at their recent meeting held on Monday, April 13, 2015. At the previous the meeting the item was tabled as the possibility of closing down the gym to outside parties was discussed. Several citizens took the opportunity to express their opinion during the public comment portion of the Monday meeting.
