January 10, 2022 - January is School Board Recognition Month and Tenaha ISD is honored to celebrate its trustees for their dedication and commitment to the district’s schools and students.
 
“Our school board members are selfless volunteers who spend long hours working to ensure all of our students have the opportunity to learn and grow,” Linda Jacobs, Superintendent stated. “Celebrating School Board Recognition Month is one way to say thanks for all they do.”
 

December 16, 2021 - Tenaha's January 1, 2021 basketball games have been rescheduled to December 31, 2022. The junior varsity and varsity girls will play Gary at 10am (Home) and then the junior varsity and varsity boys versus Gary (Home).

December 13, 2021 - A Special Closed Meeting of the Board of Trustees of Tenaha Independent School District will be held Monday, December 20, 2021, beginning at 5:30 PM in the Boardroom of the Administration Office, 138 College Street, Tenaha, Texas 75974.

December 1, 2021 - The Tenaha Tiger and Lady Tiger basketball season started on November 29, with away Junior High boys and girls games against Timpson in Timpson.

The Junior Varsity girls and Varsity girls competed against White Oak in Tenaha. Varsity girls will be playing December 2-4 in Lipan during the Lipan Tournament.

November 17, 2021 - Tenaha Junior High girls and boys basketball teams will play in Shelbyville against the Dragons on Thursday, November 18th. Girls game starts at 5:30pm and boys game to follow.
