May 31, 2018 – Teachers and other school professionals serve as an important first line of defense in the battle against child abuse. In our state, educators remain the largest professional group to report suspected child abuse and neglect. This time of year, children eagerly prepare for summer vacation, summer camps, trips to the pool, family vacations, and also decreased amounts of adult supervision. April 4, 2018 - The Butterfly release is Wednesday, April 4th at 4:00. We hope you will accept this invitation to our Appreciation Event in honor of all the individuals and businesses who have supported our service to children through donations, sponsorships, and volunteer efforts. March 25, 2018 - April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month! Will you help us spread the word that there is no excuse for child abuse?
Join us Tuesday, April 3rd at 4pm at the Downtown Square in Center for our annual butterfly release to honor child victims and stand together in the fight against child abuse. During April blue ribbons will be available for purchase at local florists in honor of Child Abuse Prevention Month.
Let’s take a stand together as a community against child abuse.
January 31, 2018 - Tickets are almost gone! The SCCAC Princess Ball is on Saturday, February 24, 2018, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the John D. Windham Civic Center. Photographers will be available starting at 5:30 pm. The event is open to girls ages 3-13 and their adult family member escort. Tickets are $20 and table reservations for parties of eight are available for an additional $50.
