October 5, 2015 - The William Carroll Crawford Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas will meet Saturday, October 10 at 10:00 AM at the Sam Samford Lodge in Center.

Final plans will be made for the upcoming Pinecone and Mistletoe Christmas Market, to be held at the Windham Civic Center on November 6-7.

Following the brunch and business meeting, the Chapter will go to Oaklawn Cemetery in Center for a memorial service for Sara Samford Jackson, a charter member of the Chapter who passed away earlier this year.

September 18, 2015 - The William Carroll Crawford Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas will hold a memorial service for Dolores Hargraves Russell on Saturday, September 26, at 2:00 PM at White Rock Cemetery on Hwy 7W in Shelby County. Members of the Sons of the Republic of Texas Chapter will join the DRT in conducting the memorial Medallion Ceremony. Dolores' friends and family are encouraged to attend. September 7, 2015 - The William Carroll Crawford Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas and the Gateway to Texas Chapter of the Sons of the Republic of Texas will meet Saturday, September 12, at 10:00 AM at the Sam Samford Lodge in Center. Following their business meetings the two groups will join for a luncheon and a short program. Members, prospective members and those who are interested in learning more about either organization are urged to attend.

July 10, 2015 - The Pinecone and Mistletoe Christmas Market! If you've attended the past markets, you know what to expect. If you haven't, this will be a good year to start.

The William Carroll Crawford Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas will hold the 2015 Christmas shopping extravaganza on Friday and Saturday, November 6 - 7 at the John D. Windham Civic Center on Express Boulevard in Center. Chapter Vice-president Judy Lee is the 2015 Chairperson.
