The 27th annual Texas Parks and Wildlife “Whiz Bang” finals were held at the National Shooting Complex in San Antonio, Texas on October 27, 2018. To become a finalist, you must participate in at least six whiz-bang qualifying shoots held throughout the year.

The participant is awarded points based on how they placed. The points are then added together and only the top five highest scores in the state are invited to the finals. Our own Shelby County 4H shooter, Lance Holloway was invited to the finals this year. Lance placed 4th overall in the state and received over $800 in prizes.

Please help us congratulate Lance on a job well done representing Shelby County 4-H.  If you have any questions or would like more information regarding 4-H, please give us a call at 936-598-7744.
