2024 Tenaha Holiday Hoops Basketball Team Wraps Up with Trophy Round Games
Tenaha, Timpson High Schools on Saturday, December 28, 2024 –
In Day 3 Trophy Round action of Tenaha’s Holiday Hoops Basketball Tournament games wrapped up throughout the day in both the Timpson ISD Gymnasium and at Tenaha ISD. The Tenaha Lady Tigers girls varsity team defeated the Douglass Lady Indians for the Silver Championship by a 41-38 score. Later in the day Rains High School beat the Broaddus Lady Bulldogs by a 45-33 score for the tourney’s Girl’s Championship Title game.
In the boy’s final day action San Augustine took the Silver Bracket title with a 56-41 win over the Sabine Cardinals. The Title round Tournament Championship Game saw the Kountze Lions take a hard-fought 69-68 win over the Tatum Eagles.
Saturday’s final games wrapped up three days of tournament action between 32 total teams of Class 1-3A girls and boys varsity basketball teams.
