June 8, 2018 - Saturday, June 16th will mark the 26th year of the Darren Wilson Golf Classic that has raised nearly $100,000 for scholarships for Shelby County seniors.
Darren lost his life in a tragic accident while trying to help someone. It only seemed fitting that we would honor his memory by helping others and thus the start of the Darren Wilson Scholarship Fund.
He was a member of the local Ducks Unlimited committee and in 1993 friends and members of the local DU committee started the golf tournament that bears his name.
The format of the "fun" tournament at the Center Country CLub is a 6-person team scramble. Entry fee is $100 per player with registration starting at 11am. Lunch at 11:30am prepared by the Shelby County Cookers and tee off around 12:30pm.

There will be a silent auction of donated items, but we can always make a place for another if you would like to give an item for this. Hole sponsors are available for $200 as well.
