• Classes will meet at the Extension office from 5pm to 7pm
• Bring your own sewing machine or use one of ours
• Sewing tools will be provided
• All Roads Lead to Texas quilt class: Participants will receive a list of fabric at registration to purchase to make their own quilt or you may purchase quilt kit from Margaret for $25 at first class
• Beginning sewing skills needed
• Dates: May 2, 9, and 14
• Cost: $35
• Long Arm Machine Quilting certification: Learn to set-up long arm machine (loading quilt pieces, machine care, needle inserting, loading/winding bobbins and top thread, and free motion stitching). After completion of certification class (both sessions), participant will be able to rent our machine for personal use.
• Supplies: Bring 2 yards of muslin and 1 yard of cotton batting for practice session. For one-on-one session, you will need to bring a finished quilt top, backing fabric and cotton batting.
• Beginning sewing skills needed
• Date: May 8th (group class), then a 2-hour one-on-one class will be scheduled
