July 29, 2026 — The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Shelby County is pleased to announce a virtual educational series, Growing and Nourishing a Healthy Community, designed to provide participants with practical information on gardening, nutrition, and healthy living.
Whether you are an experienced gardener, a beginner interested in growing your own food, or simply looking for ways to improve your family's health and nutrition, this series has something for you. Take the first step toward building a healthier home and community by registering today. The virtual classes will be released on the following dates:
• August 11, 2026
• August 18, 2026
• August 25, 2026
To provide flexibility for participants, each session will be recorded and released on the scheduled date, allowing individuals to view the content at their convenience.
The series is designed for community members interested in learning ways to grow healthy foods, improve nutrition, and support healthier lifestyles for themselves and their families. Participants will receive research-based information and practical tips that can be applied at home and within the community.
