May 13, 2025 - The 2025 Annual Shelby County Pond Day is Thursday, May 22, 2025. Must RSVP by May 13, 2025 for meal purposes by calling 936-598-7744. There is no charge to attend and 2 IPM CEU’s are available.

- “Aquatic Plant Management Using IPM Strategies” (1 IPM)
Pond owners are encouraged to bring pond water and weed samples for testing and identification.
Registration is at 5:30pm and the program is at 6pm at McAdam’s Farm located off 96 South. From Center take 96 South for 3 miles, toward San Augustine, and then turn left onto CR 1006 - Old City Lake Road. The property is located at 245 CR 1006 and turn at the brown pipe fence on left.
The meal is sponsored by McAdam’s Propane. Please bring a lawn chair.
