January 24, 2019 - For the second straight game, a defensive driven first half leads the Fillies to another win. After a 21-5 start, the Fillies would take off running, beating the Jacksonville College Jaguars, 68-46. The Fillies, who on Saturday held Bossier Parish to an eight-point quarter, brought the same defense home Wednesday. The Fillies held the Jaguars to a mere 5 points in the first, 6 in the second and 13 in the third. The Fillies lead reached 30 points at one point in the game.
Scoring was balanced for the Fillies, as 9 Fillies recorded points in tonight’s game.
The Fillies improve to 6-2 in conference, 10-8 on the season with the win. They return to District 14 action on Saturday, January 26th against Angelina College at 2:00 PM.
