May 17, 2019 - Center Christian Academy announces the graduating class of 2019. The commencement ceremony is at 6pm Friday, May 17, 2019.
Valedictorian - Aslynne Reyes
Aslynne is the daughter of Karen Mayo and Angel Reyes. She plans to attend Texas Bible College, majoring in Missions, with a long-term goal of obtaining a Nursing degree from Angelina College. Aslynne is also an active member of Revival Tabernacle UPC.
Achievements/Honors/School Activities include: Christian Character Award, Honor Roll (9-12), Volleyball (9-12), Debate (10), Junior Chamber of Commerce (10-12), Texas Youth Choir (12), 30 + Community Service/Volunteer hours.
Salutatorian - Darcie Hays
Darcie is the daughter of Connie and Mike Belgard of Center and Jeff Hays of Longview, granddaughter of Trudy Cox and the late Lonnie Cox of Center, and James Hays and the late Dena Hays of Longview. Her plans include continuing as co-owner of Center Floral and The Coffee Cup.
Achievements/Honors/School Activities include: Honor Roll (9-12), Volleyball (9-12), Junior Chamber of Commerce (10-11), 20 + Community Service/Volunteer hours, active member and youth leader of Chireno Baptist Church, floral designer, wedding planner, avid painter and artist.
