Center Christian Academy Introduces Graduating Class of 2024

May 6, 2024 - Center Christian Academy's High School Graduation will be held on Friday, May 17, at 6:30pm, at Center Christian Academy, 2398 Highway 87 N, Center.  


Kelly Leeann Bridges, Valedictorian, Center Christian Academy

Kelly is the daughter of Renee Bridges of Center. She has been accepted into Stephen F. Austin University. Kelly plans to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with an emphasis in Pre-Law while also pursuing a call to ministry. Her long-term plans include attending Law School at the University of Texas specializing in Child Advocacy.

Awards and Achievements: Honor Roll (9-12), Christian Character Award (11), 2021 Texas Youth Institute Borlaug Scholar, Junior Chamber Chamber of Commerce (7-12), Varsity CHS Tennis(9-11), Varsity Co-Ed Volleyball(12), 2023 Texas District Camper of the Year. 

Kelly is an active member of Center First United Pentecostal Church where she sings on the praise team and participates in her youth group. She will graduate with 40 college credits. She enjoys youth rallies, pickleball, road trips, retail therapy and hanging with her Nay Nay.


Richard Ishmael Romero, Salutatorian, Center Christian Academy

Ishmael is the son of Karen Mayo and Ismael Romero of Center. He is a dual-credit student with Panola College and plans to enlist in the Marines this summer.   

Achievements, Honors, School Activities: Honor Roll, Junior Chamber of Commerce (9-12), School Spirit Award, Christian Character Award (9), Basketball (9-11), Co-Ed Volleyball MVP (12), Nursing Home Volunteer (12), Reach Out America (12).   

Ishmael is a member of Revival Tabernacle in Center, where he sings on the praise team and helps with anything needed around the church. He enjoys paddle boarding, working out at the gym, sports, fishing and hanging out with friends.   


Leah Faith Fountain, Center Christian Academy

Leah is the daughter of Joey and Iletha Fountain of Center. Leah has received many awards including Honor Roll, Teacher’s Award 2021, Good Manners, Neat Handwriting, Citizenship, and Creativity.

Leah is a member of First United Pentecostal Church in Center where she is an active member of the WIRED youth group. She enjoys working in the WIRED café. Leah loves to paint and create art. 

After graduating, Leah plans to continue her painting where she will begin to sell her pieces at local venues.
